Here we go!

In just a few days, 25 of us from Parkside Church are going to be headed to Scotland on a short-term missions trip (June 4th through the 14th).  We'll be spending a large portion of our time in a city called Musselburgh with Graham Shearer and Musselburgh Baptist Church.  In the time that we spend with Graham, we will enjoy the opportunity to serve and worship alongside their people and experience firsthand how they seek to practice Christ-centered ministry in their part of the world.

We'll also have a great opportunity to spend time with Andy Prime in Edinburgh and observe the work that he is doing with a ministry called 20 schemes.  We'll be able to observe and learn from the important ministry that he is doing in the very heart of Scotland.

If you follow this blog, you'll be able to keep up to date on all of these things and more as we'll be trying to post a review of our time spent almost every day.  I'll have 1-2 new students posting to this blog to share their experiences with you and give you a window into what we're up to in Scotland!

Please pray for us as we embark on an exciting trip together.  Pray that we stay safe, that we won't get too sick of each other too fast, that we would grow closer to each other in Christ, and that He would be glorified in all that we do during these ten days.
